Welcome

Magnum Entertainment Group, Inc. was founded by Jeffrey J. Kimbell and two partners in the summer of 2003 for the purposes of planning, coordinating and executing high-end entertainment events around the world. The company’s inaugural events, held in New York City on August 30 and September 1, 2004, clearly established Magnum as an authority in the field and featured such high-profile bands as ZZ Top, The Marshall Tucker Band, Dickey Betts & Great Southern, SuperDiamond and Kiss Nation. Both evenings’ events were held at B.B. King Blues Club on 42nd Street in Times Square.

Continuing this success, on January 19, 2005, Magnum hosted a tremendous 1,100-person event in Washington, D.C. at the 9:30 Club featuring San Francisco’s SuperDiamond and Los Angeles’ Boogie Knights. Three months later, in Baltimore, MD, Magnum staged the Miss USA Afterparty and, soon thereafter, the Miss Universe After Party in Bangkok, Thailand, with each event serving as the official late-night destination for the contestants.

On September 10 in Washington, D.C., Magnum hosted a prominent live music event on behalf of the Mississippi Red Cross with all proceeds benefiting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.  Featured bands included Boogie Knights and Burnt Sienna. Most recently, in October of 2006, Magnum put on an exceptional, 600-person party at the historic City Tavern Club of Washington, D.C. with live music provided by Burnt Sienna.

Since the inaugural launch events in New York City, Magnum is regularly retained by corporations, trade groups and individuals seeking guidance, assistance and proper execution of successful, high-end private events with performances by musicians from around the world.
